What could be causing this?

-i have two computers, a desktop and a laptop



my lap top is fine but my desktop has no internet service



i checked the connections



what are some things that can cause this??



i rebooted my router with no lucksometimes metal roofs can cause it, or if you have too many different computers connecting to one router.

try using a cable to connect to your desktop (thats what i had to do), because you dont need to have it wireless anyway (bc its a desktop...)You really need to re-post with some more information before we can give you a reasonable answer.



How is your system set up? Who is your ISP?

Model number and manufacturer of modem

How is the laptop connected?

How is the desktop connected?



Once we know these basic facts we can help you troubleshoot the system.

Otherwise, all you get are wild guesses
