Sharing my files to other computers Via internet?

-I've got a project but one of the people I'm working with currently resides across the Atlantic ocean, what is the best free program i can use to upload and download files i post. I don't want to email things because this is a bi-daily file sharing situation.

An example of a situation would be, I have a 2gb file that needs to go to Europe. I upload the file to (insert program) and my associate downloads my file, safe, secure, and most of all free.

Thanks for any help.Instead of a program, consider going with an online storage site. Microsoft's skydrive.live.com offers you 50 gb of space on the Internet. You can transfer files up to the site, place them into password protected folders (should you need to share with more than one person) and then the other person can go to your site, enter the password, and download the file.

No need to have a special software. Nothing to download or install. You can access the files from any computer with a browser and an Internet connection. You also have the option of leaving files out there for a long time, while with most transfer programs as soon as the person takes the file it is gone from the inbox.A program that I use is DropBox.

Fast and free.

The free version only has 2GB of space though.

Hope it works out!
