How to set up a LAN with a router but no Internet?

-Well here's what in thinking. I've got a couple of old computer's, with some really great games on 'em. I want to connect them all through a LAN network, but i wont be getting internet for several weeks. I have a router, but no internet. Is there any way I can connect them all to the router and then play them over LAN?Yes. Simply attach each of the computers to the router with an ethernet cable. The router will assign each of them an internal IP address (usually begins with 192.168.xxx.xxx.) Once they have an IP they will be joined in a LAN. If you then want to play games between the computers, you simply enter the IP address of the other computer into the appropriate option in the game and you are ready to play. No Internet access is normally required to play LAN games. In fact, they were around for over a decade before the Internet was even invented.Just in case you're not familiar with sharing file across Windows PCs, beside setting up your LAN, you need to follow Microsoft's procedure on "sharing files across Windows workgroups". Go to Microsoft Support site and search for that phrase for the version of Windows you have.
Yes, just connect them to the router via ethernet cables or wireless if you're using a wireless router. There's nothing more to it.
