-I got my mums work computer after she left and have been using her account made on the work domain (rather than an account on the computer) but now i need to change the password and there is no way for me to connect to the account.
How do i do it?You can't. the only way to do anything is to move the machine out of the domain and into a workgroup. To do this you need it to be an account which would have had admin rights to the domain. Go to Start and right click computer. Then select properties and in the advanced tab select the computer name section and then the change sextion to give the machine a workgroup name. If this refuses due to no admin rights or incorrect password, te only way is to re-install the machine from scratch.
