HOW DO I REMOVE THIS CABLE!!?!?!?

-I need steps in order to remove the computer cable from my Gateway Hardrive and Computer monitor. It's a 2-sided cable and it locks into the hardrive and computer monitor. The wire says "AWM E101344 STYLE 2990 VW-1 80'C 30V SPACE SHUTTLE-C LOW VOLTAGE COMPUTER CABLE" and my computer was manufactured in September 2002. The ends of the cable are blue and are rectangular and have 2 little screw like things on the tops. I realllly need help!!! Whoever replies a working method on how to remove these cables without ruining the cable or computer soonest i will rate "best answer". Somebpdy pleaseeee help!!It is a VGA cable also called a D-sub cable. you can confirm from this image :

This can easily be disconnected. Turn the screw like things in an anti-clockwise direction, till it is completely loose. Generally no screw driver is needed for this operation. Use your index finger and thumb. Once both the screws are completely loose gently pull out the connector. Repaeat the same procedure on the other end.

This cable is not connected to your hard drive. It is connected to the video signal output of your computer and carries the video signals to the monitor.

What your talking about seems to be a VGA cable.

I assume by Gateway Harddrive you mean the PC itself.

The trick is to twist the 2 little screws like unsrewing something, once you unscrew them the cable should come lose. Both screws on each side must be loosened to remove both ends.
im assuming by harddrive you mean your pc tower if its a VGA cable then turn the "2 little screw like things on the tops" this will loosen the cable an let you remove it from your monitor
Is it an ethernet cable? If not, Im not sure.
