How can i block Lan connections?

-Hey, Can anyone tell me how i can block all connections to my LAN ip. I got password for router+id i just need to know how i can do that. My mate didnt do anything and it blocks instantly all IPS trying to connect to the LAN one. So can anyone help me? Thanks :)Is there a firewall install on your computer?
